Eye test

I went to get my eyes tested today at Specsavers. I was going through the usual tests and the lady was looking at the photos of my eyes.

She looked between the right and the left eye and was having a think. I offered that I'd had a TBI. She turned round to me and asked me about it.

It turns out that the optic nerve on my left eye is noticeably different to look at than my right. That's because I had damage to my left eye. Because the front of my brain banged on the back of my skull : the impact from the back of my head hitting concrete.

When I explained it to her she asked me lots of questions about it. Luckily the damage has now healed up, so that I'm allowed to drive a car again. Thank god for that!
