Here's a typical one. When I was rooting through some books whilst Christmas decorating the house, I stumbled across this. It was my diary after my TBI in 2008.
Starting with my contacts - when at my job I used to be on the phone with Invitrogen all the time discussing why their kits weren't working for us in the lab.
Now though it was my GP, speech therapist and physio. It makes me laugh how I told my speech lady Michelle Collins how in the UK she'd be known as Cindy Beale, that unforgettable character in Eastenders. How on earth did I know that, I haven't watched that soap since Angie and Dirty Den?!
Anyway I stopped and flicked through all the stuff I'd had planned. Loads of sleeping - I slept day and night back then. Lots of rehab consults and doing normal life things with my occupational therapist...
Oh and the best page was when it was scribbled out and we were off to Adelaide for a trip, oh yeah!!
